The goal of Camp Cadet of Lancaster County is to introduce participants to the diverse criminal justice system and establish a positive relationship with law enforcement personnel. Our camp provides kids with an understanding of law enforcement activities while living in an atmosphere similar to an actual State Police Academy. At Camp Cadet of Lancaster County emphasis is placed on teaching cadets teamwork and the benefits of making good decisions as well as respect for authority.
Camp Cadet of Lancaster County is facilitated by Troopers from Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, Lancaster and York Stations. Troopers and officers from local police departments volunteer to serve as camp counselors during this fun filled week.
Camp Cadet of Lancaster County is a non-profit organization governed by a civilian board of directors. Camp Cadet of Lancaster County is a FREE summer camp for all participants. Camp is funded entirely through corporate and individual donations.
